According to an online report by Ogechi Henry, a young man who hails from Awo-omanma in Oru East LGA in Imo state was thoroughly beaten by the angry youths of Umuaku village in Ogbaku, Mbaitoli Local Government Area after he was caught stealing electric cables.
The community youths led by their leaders taught the electric cable thief the lesson of his life. Their communities have in recent times witnessed massive theft of the electric materials ranging from cables and all sorts of wires, thereby paralyzing the community not to have electricity.
