Former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, has said he will support the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, in the 2027 election.
Newsextra24 reports that Omo-Agege disclosed this on Wednesday while speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show.
He said he remained a loyal party man and would give his full support to the NDC after leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Omo-Agege said his support for Obi was total and that his loyalty now belonged to the NDC.
“Peter Obi is my presidential candidate for the 2027, I have endorsed him. I’m a political animal and when I was in APC I gave my all but now I’m in NDC, take it to the bank that my loyalty to the party stands,” he said.
He added that just as he supported President Bola Tinubu when he was in the APC, he would now work for the NDC and its presidential candidate.
