THE Federal Government has announced the temporary closure of access roads around the National Arcade and the Federal Secretariat in Abuja as part of the preparations for the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration.

The decision to cordon off the roads is aimed at ensuring security and smooth execution of the event.

In light of the road closures, officers working in the Federal Secretariat Phases I, II, and III, as well as those in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, workers have been informed that they should resume work late on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

“This adjustment is to accommodate the activities and ensure minimal disruption to their work schedules.”
